Modern Ramadan Crafts with Maece

Join me at Wayfare at Costa Mesa for a fun and exciting workshop!
This is meant for anyone wanting to learn a new skill set and experiment with endlessly with paper and lights.

What I'll be covering:
In in this 2.5 hour workshop you will be learning about some crafting techniques with paper and assembly.
We will also explore a few ways to create modern lanterns and candle holders for the month of Ramadan that will be ready to take home and display. I will also be offering styling tips to enhance the look and feel of your pieces.

What you'll get:
- Refreshments and a light snack
- Craft supply kit filled with materials to be used in class

About the Instructor:
Maece Seirafi is the founder and creative director of MSD Studio. A design agency in Los Angeles that focuses on projects and initiatives that raise awareness about Arabic culture, language, and education. Of Syrian origin having lived in Damascus for 18 years, culture and heritage preservation is very important to her. Her design studio focuses on print and web based media from designing brand identities to logotypes and calligraphy. She has taught classes at CalState LA about design and digital tools and has also given workshops branding, culture,  and language in the diaspora.
